Ali Guest is known for working in and around the Linda McCartney Centre but on Sunday, 24th October 2004, she went that bit further when she was witnessed to have jumped off the roof. Of course this was no suicide attempt but a planned action as Ali and the rest of the Breast Unit Abseiling Team were caught on camera and attached to safety ropes! The jump in question, was a 180 foot abseil down the side of the 12-storey Royal Liverpool University Hospital in the name of charity with the Abseiling Team raising £800 for 'The Linda McCartney Centre and the St Paul's Eye Appeal'. This latest Charitable effort was performed by the following Team members: Pauline Smith (Senior I Radiographer), Anne Asquith (Senior I Radiographer), Ali Guest (Superintendent Radiographer) and Anne Moody (Radiographic Assistant Practitioner). Ali and the girls would like to thank IRS and all their sponsors for
helping raise money for an erstwhile and necessary cause.
