Our course for Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) training in Dental Radiography ensures that participants receive the necessary core of knowledge instruction to be appointed as RPS for their practice.
The course content has been developed to meet requirements outlined in Regulation 18(5)(a) 17 of The Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 (IRR17) and covers the RPS syllabus requirements as outlined by HSE information sheet ‘Ionising Radiation Protection Series No. 6’.
This is a single day course that will equip dental professionals with the underpinning theoretical knowledge and understanding necessary to act as a RPS under the remit of IRR.
This course is appropriate for those requiring to be appointed as RPSs for the first time, and for those seeking RPS refresher training. There will be various Q&A sessions throughout the course and a multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) at the end.
