Introduction to Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy (SLNB) Course

New for 2024, IRS will be hosting a course dedicated to offering guidance for regulatory compliance for any Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy service.

This one day course will look to cover the requirements for compliance with the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017, the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 and the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016. We’ll cover the different considerations for each department including the QA requirements, and we will share experiences of a CQC inspection of an SLNB service.

This course will also offer support for staff and departments involved in the administration of radioactive material for this procedure, though will have further applications for theatre staff too.

This course is charged at £290.40 (inc. VAT) per delegate, though we offer a discounted price of £264 (ex. VAT) per delegate to our RPA customers.
